The Aprilia SRV 850 is a scooter from the Italian supplier Aprilia , which has been available on the German market since 2012.
technology
The SRV 850 is currently (2015) the fastest series scooter and thus replaces the almost identical model from Gilera , which was offered until 2012. The 76 hp, water-cooled 90 degree V2 engine enables a top speed of 193 km / h and an acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h in 5.7 seconds. The power is transmitted to the rear wheel via a CVT transmission via a chain. The wheels of 16 inches (120/70) at the front and 15 inches (160/60) at the rear, which are relatively large for a scooter, should, in conjunction with the long wheelbase, ensure straight-line stability.
In the Federal Republic of Germany, * the scooter has been available with a standard two-channel anti-lock braking system from Continental and traction control since 2013 .
