Achatz von Waldow

August Wilhelm Achatz von Waldow (born March 14, 1852 in Fürstenau ; † September 7, 1904 there ) was a German officer, manor owner and member of parliament.

Life

Achatz von Waldow studied law at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg . In 1873 he became a member of the Corps Saxo-Borussia Heidelberg . In the same year he switched to the Prussian Army , where he was a professional soldier until 1886. Most recently he was Rittmeister of the Landwehr Cavalry. He then became the owner of the Fürstenau manor, which he has managed since then. He was a councilor and district deputy.

From a by-election in 1892 until his death in 1904, Waldow sat as a member of the constituency Frankfurt 1 (Arnswalde, Friedeberg) in the Prussian House of Representatives . He belonged to the faction of the Conservative Party .
