Apúlia is a place and a former municipality ( freguesia ) in northern Portugal .

Apúlia Church

Apúlia belongs to the Esposende district in the Braga district . The community had an area of ​​10.5 km² and 4227 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011).

On September 29, 2013, the municipalities of Apúlia and Fão were merged to form the new municipality of União das Freguesias de Apúlia e Fão . Apúlia is the seat of this newly formed municipality.
