Aquabella is a German a cappella ensemble from Berlin . The female vocal ensemble sings a cappella world music, songs and hits, tunes and songs from the folklore of different cultures in more than 20 languages. The formation was founded in the mid-1990s by Ulrike Siems and Gisela Knorr and was continued from 1999/2000 by Claudia Karduck and Bettina Stäbert with changing line-ups from a pool of eight singers. The ensemble currently consists of six singers, each performing as a quartet; Bettina Stäbert (since 2006) and Erika Spalke (since 2017) are managing directors. Her concert tours take Aquabella across Europe.
