Aquaria is a Brazilian symphonic power metal band from Rio de Janeiro .
history
The band was founded in 1999 under the name Uirapuru . In 2001 and 2002 Uirapuru released two demo albums: Here Comes The Life and Flames Of Trinity . They then renamed themselves Aquaria and released their debut album Luxaeterna in 2005 under their label Scarecrow Records / Marquee Avalon.
On January 24, 2007 Aquaria announced that guitarist Gustavo di Padua would join the band. With this new line-up, they continued their recordings for their second studio album Shambala , which was first released on September 21, 2007 in Japan.
In January 2009 the band wants to start recording their third album.
