Aquiles Guzmán

Aquiles José Guzmán Matute (* 13. April 1965 in Anzoátegui , Venezuela ) is a former Venezuelan boxer in the flyweight .

Professional career

In 1985 he started his professional career. On September 26, 1992, he boxed against Yong-Kang Kim for the WBA World Championship and won by a unanimous decision of the judges. However, he lost this belt in his second title defense to Saen Sor Ploenchit in December of the same year on points.

In 2001 he ended his career.
