Macaw (mythology)
Ara ( Greek Ἀρά , plural Ἀραὶ ) is the personification of the curse in Greek mythology .
As such Ara belongs to the environment of the goddesses of revenge and is approximately in the Elektra of Sophocles beside the Furies made while Aeschylus equates at various points Ara and Erinys even more or less. Therefore, the Nyx is sometimes assumed to be the mother . In Athens , Ara had a sanctuary that was mentioned in the lost Horai des Aristophanes . As a group of female demons , they appear under the name Arai .
