Arabesque (piece of music)
The arabesque (from French , also: arabesque ) is originally an oriental ornament (an ornament, see arabesque ).
The term is used in music, among other things, as a cheerful, flowery, delicate piece of music composed especially for the piano , which is not bound to any form . For example, Robert Schumann ( Arabeske op. 18 ) and Claude Debussy ( Deux Arabesques ) wrote arabesques.
