Arab Nations Cup 2002

In 2002 the Arab Nations Cup was played for the eighth time. This competition was held in Kuwait . The venue was Kuwait's capital, Kuwait City . The Saudi Arabian team won for the second time, defending its 1998 title. The teams played in a league system in two groups against each other. The group's best moved into the knockout round. A game for third place did not take place.
