Araki Mitsutaro
Araki Mitsutarō ( Japanese 荒木 光 太郎 ; * May 18, 1894 , † September 29, 1951 ) was a Japanese economist.
Life
Araki Mitsutarō was born on May 18, 1894, the son of the painter Araki Jippo . He stayed for a while at the Friedrich Wilhelms University in Berlin.
Araki Mitsutarō was appointed professor in the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences at the Imperial University of Tokyo in 1927 . In 1937 he met Eduard Spranger in Tokyo . In 1938 and 1939 he was head of the Japan Institute in Berlin . The following year, Araki held a leading position at the Japanese-German Institute in Tokyo, succeeding Tomoeda Takahiko .
He died on September 29, 1951.
