The Working Group Embryo Transfer German-Speaking Countries (AET-d) is an association of scientists and practitioners from Germany, Austria, Luxembourg and Switzerland who deal with reproductive biology and maintain a corresponding exchange of experiences.

The working group for embryo transfer was founded by representatives from animal breeding and insemination on October 14, 1974 in Munich by Messrs Horst Krausslich , Werner Leidl, Rudolph Hahn and Joachim Hahn . Since then, AET-d has held annual meetings at different locations in Germany, Switzerland and Austria.

The originally small circle of individual representatives from these two areas has grown into a large community that today encompasses all disciplines involved in reproductive biology.

In addition to animal breeders , veterinarians , cryobiologists and human physicians , molecular biologists , computer scientists and representatives from other professional groups and disciplines have now joined the group.
