The working group foehn research Rheintal-Bodensee ( AGF ) is a working group that is dedicated to foehn research.

The AGF was founded in 1972 and consists of forecasters , those interested in the foehn, meteorologists and climatologists who deal with the foehn and its forecast in the Alpine Rhine Valley and Lake Constance region . The AGF is supported by the German Weather Service , the Central Institute for Meteorology and Geodynamics and MeteoSwiss , since the results of the AGF are included in their foehn forecast. In 2007 the AGF accepted the remaining members of the Mesoscale Alpine Program . The Föhn in Eastern Switzerland is continuously monitored by the AGF members and discussed at six-monthly meetings. In addition to storm warning and foehn forecast, the AGF is dedicated to the influence of the foehn on the climate in eastern Switzerland.
