Archaeological Museum Upper Franconia
The Archaeological Museum of Upper Franconia is an archaeological museum in the Upper Franconian town of Forchheim in Bavaria .
General and history
This branch museum of the Archaeological State Collection Munich was opened in 2008 on the first two upper floors of Forchheim Castle . It illuminates the prehistory and early history of Upper Franconia and particularly presents the central settlement areas such as the Ehrenbürg (Walberla) or the Staffelberg .
