The Archaeological Reports (abbreviated Arch. Ber. ) Are a series of publications published by the German Society for Prehistory and Early History (DGUF) .

They have been published in German or English with about one volume per year since 1987. In some archaeological reports , works that arose in the DGUF itself were published, such as the two-volume commemorative publication for Wolfgang Taute (vol. 14, 2001) or the literature recommendations of the working group textbooks (vol. 21, 2006). The vast majority of the volumes, however, arise from examination papers and dissertations , which are brought to print here promptly.

With volume 25 (2014), the series was converted into an open access publication, in which a freely accessible online version is offered in addition to the printed book. All volumes that were previously only published in print have been retro-digitized and have also been available in Open Access via the Propylaeum specialist information service for ancient studies since May 2017 .
