Archambault VII (Bourbon)
Archambault VII (German: Archibald , 1108 / 09–1171 attested; † before 1173) was Lord of Bourbon . He was the son of Aimon II de Bourbon and Aldesinde von Nevers.
Before January 25, 1140 he married Agnes von Savoyen , daughter of Count Humbert II. The couple had a son and a daughter:
- Archambault VIII. (June 29, 1140 - July 26, 1169) ∞ Alix of Burgundy, daughter of Odo II , Duke of Burgundy
- Daughter ; ∞ Ebles de Charenton , 1047–1059 attested
In 1147 he took the cross for the Second Crusade . Since his son a few years died before him (which leads to problems in the counting of the Lords of Bourbon), the estate passed to his death to his only offspring, his granddaughter Matilda (Mahaut) that the with their marriage the Bourbonnais House Dampierre charging thereto .
