Aeropos II.

Aeropos II. (Also Archelaos II. , † 393 BC ) was the son of Arribaios , a leader of the Macedonian Lynkestis . He was the guardian of Orestes , king of Macedonia , and ran the affairs of state for the young monarch. Diodorus reports that Aeropos murdered Orestes after four years of joint government. He then ruled the country for another four or six years under his new name Archelaos II. After his death, his son was Pausanias king of Macedonia.
