The Arco do Bandeira is an archway in the municipality of Santa Maria Maior in the Portuguese capital, Lisbon .

It was built towards the end of the 18th century on the north side of the Baixa Pombalina as a transition from the Praça de D. Pedro IV (Rossio) to the Rua dos Sapadeiros . Architect Manuel Reinaldo dos Santos provided the plans for the building ; the client was the entrepreneur Pires Bandeira , whose name he bears.

The archway is a copy of an arch built on the opposite side of the Rossio, where the Teatro Nacional D. Maria II is now located. With its ornamental motifs it is a good example of the Pombaline style .

It is registered in the Inventário Municipal de Património .
