Arcozelo is a place and a former municipality ( freguesia ) in northern Portugal .
Arcozelo belongs to the Vila Verde county in the Braga district . The community had an area of 3.3 km² and 405 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011).
On September 29, 2013, the municipalities of Arcozelo and Marrancos were merged to form the new municipality of União das Freguesias de Marrancos e Arcozelo .
