Ardnave Loch is a lake on the Scottish Hebridean island of Islay . It is located on the Ardnave peninsula just south of the village of Ardnave about one kilometer north of Kilnave . The lake is more round in shape and a maximum of about 380 m long and 350 m wide.
In the southwest of the lake near the shore there is a small, almost circular island, which is accessible via a land bridge when the water level is low. Signs of early settlement were found on this. Maybe the island is a crannóg . Near the island opens the group consisting of hole Laingeadail effluent stream CASACH hole Laingeadail into Ardnave hole, which represents the only significant inflow. To the east of it, a small stream called Allt a 'Ghlinne flows out of the lake and flows into the inlet of Loch Gruinart, a few hundred meters to the east .
