The arena sports park is the largest sports facility in the North Rhine-Westphalian state capital Düsseldorf .
location
The park is located in the Stockum district north of the Düsseldorf Exhibition Center and the Merkur Spiel-Arena multi-purpose hall . To the east is the Rheinbad indoor and outdoor swimming pool . The sports park encompasses all of the sporty usable areas that belonged to the Rhine Stadium , which was demolished in 2002 .

Numerous amateur and recreational athletes train in the arena sports park, but also competitive athletes, e.g. the Düsseldorf Panther , Fortuna or ASC Düsseldorf .
Investments
The core elements of the Arena Sports Park are the athletics hall and the small arena . The designation small arena was used to distinguish it from the former main arena , the then Rheinstadion .

The small arena has a covered grandstand with 195 seats and 1350 standing places. In the summer season from April 1 to September 30, numerous events take place there, from school sports festivals to football games .
