Arend De Keysere

Arend De Keysere (Arnoldus Cæsaris, Arnoul de Keysere; * around 1450 in Ghent ; † 1490 ) was a printer of incunabula in Flanders .

De Keysere, who probably got his training as a printer in France , began printing in Oudenaarde in 1480 . Between 1483 and his death in 1490 he lived and worked in Ghent .

De Keysere has produced the following works: a total of 33 works, including 13 letters of indulgence , 9 theological works and 5 official prints. 23 of these works were written in Latin, 8 in Dutch and 3 in French. Two works are provided with woodcuts .
