Arentim is a place and a former municipality ( freguesia ) in northern Portugal .
Arentim e Cunha belongs to the district of Braga in the same district Braga . The community had an area of 2.4 km² and 888 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011).
On September 29, 2013, the parishes of Arentim and Cunha were merged to form the new parish União das Freguesias de Arentim e Cunha . Arentim is the seat of this newly formed community.
