Ariana Baborie

Ariana Baborie (born January 12, 1988 in Berlin ) is a German radio and television presenter , podcaster and author with Afghan roots.

life and career

Ariana Baborie grew up in Berlin and developed a talent for entertainment and puns in childhood and youth. After graduating from high school, she trained as a copywriter. She then worked as a presenter for the Hessian radio station You FM and the Berlin radio station 98.8 Kiss FM . This was followed by comedy appearances, including at NightWash , the Quatsch Comedy Club and at StandUpMigranten . Since 2018, she has been moderating the late-night show Dinner Party on Sat.1 in turns with Oliver Pocher .

Together with Laura Larsson , she has hosted the award-winning podcast Herrengedeck - The Podcast , in which they exchange weekly news and personal experiences since 2016 . In August 2019, they published their book Herrengedeck: Stories that we would never tell soberly at Kiepenheuer & Witsch .

Ariana Baborie has a sister and lives in Berlin.
