Ariaramna (Cappadocia)
Ariaramna / Ariaramnes / Ariamnes († around 225 BC) was from about 255 to about 225 BC. Ruler of Cappadocia . His name means: the Aryans pacifying .
Ariaramna was the eldest of three sons of Ariarathes II. Through a clever marriage policy - his son Ariarathes was married to the daughter of Antiochus II Stratonike - Ariaramna further expanded his position. His successor was his son Ariarathes III. , whom he appointed co-regent during his lifetime.
