Arina Andreyevna Ushakova

Arina Andrejewna Uschakowa ( Russian Арина Андреевна Ушакова , also transcribed Arina Ushakova ; born December 18, 1989 in Perm , Soviet Union ) is a Russian figure skater. She starts in pair skating .

Life

Ushakova's first partner was Alexander Popov . The couple trained together from 2000 - first with Larisa Kalinina and later with Walentina and Valeri Tiukow in Perm and Krasnodar . After the 2004/05 season, the couple separated.

Uschakowa ran from then on with Sergei Karew . In order to train with him, she moved from her hometown to Moscow . They trained with Nina Mozer for two seasons and in 2007 they changed coach to train with Natalja Pawlowa .

At the Russian Championships Ushakova and her partner took third place and were thus allowed to represent Russia at the European Championships, where they immediately took fifth place.
