Ariobarzanes II (kios)
Ariobarzanes of Kios ( ancient Greek: Ἀριοβαρζάνης) ruled in 362 BC. BC to 336 BC About Mariandynia and later also about Mysia . He was the son of Mithridates I whom he followed in the rule.
Ariobarzanes probably first joined the uprising of the satraps in Asia Minor, in which his namesake Ariobarzanes , the satrap from Phrygia, played an important role. After the defeat, however, his position was not affected. He later received Mysia as the successor to Orontes I , probably as a reward from Artaxerxes II for his support against the rebel satrap from Phrygia.
According to Diodorus , Ariobarzanes died in 336 BC. After a reign of twenty-six years.
