Arithmograph

In the 19th century, calculating machines were called arithmographs , which today would probably be called arithmometers . For example, Léon Bollée built such an arithmograph in 1887 .

Even number crunchers were invented in 1889 by Frenchman L. Troncet and under the name Arithmographe sold.
