Arlesberg is a suburb of Waldhausen , a district of Aalen .
Location and transport links
Arlesberg is east of the city center of Aalen and north of Waldhausen. The district road K 3289 runs through Arlesberg and leaves the village in the south towards Waldhausen and in the west towards Bernlohe and Simmisweiler . There is also a small road to Hülen .
The hamlet lies on a plateau of the Swabian Alb , the Härtsfeld .
history
Arlesberg was mentioned for the first time in 1144 as Adellohesberc . In 1385 the Ellwangen monastery in Arlazberc was wealthy. In 1454/1470 the place was sold by the von Ahelfingen to the Teutonic Order .
In 1872 Arlesberg had 88 inhabitants.
