Armando Lambruschini (born June 15, 1924 - † August 15, 2004 ) was an Argentine admiral and member of the Argentine military junta, which described their rule as a process of national reorganization . In 1978 he took the place of Emilio Massera in the second junta under Roberto Viola , which ruled the country until 1981.

In 1985, during the trials of former members of the military junta, he was sentenced to 8 years imprisonment in 35 cases of illegal detention and 10 cases of torture. Like other convicts of those trials, he was pardoned by a general amnesty issued in 1990 by President Carlos Menem . In 1997 an Italian court sentenced him in absentia for crimes against Italian citizens. In 2003 he was tried again on charges of crimes against humanity, but was only placed under house arrest and not in prison because of his old age. In 2003 the Spanish judge asked Baltasar Garzón for his extradition for crimes against Spanish citizens.

In 1978, during the military rule, Lambruschini lost one of his daughters, 15-year-old Paula, in a bomb attack by the guerrilla organization Montoneros .
