Sketch for a figure fitting

The armature in the fine arts describes a frame within a sculpture that serves to support the applied modeling compound , mostly plaster of paris , paper mache or clay . The procedure essentially corresponds to the reinforcement in construction .

The faucet usually has a purely technical character and does not add anything to the aesthetics of the plastic. Occasionally, however, the fitting appears in places and is used as a means of design.
