The Armenian bee ( Apis mellifera armeniaca ) is a subspecies of the western honeybees native to Armenia . An outdated name is Apis mellifera remipes (Gerstaecker, 1862)
properties
The yellow-colored bee is not considered meek in terms of its properties. According to Ruttner's morphological classification , the subspecies belongs to the group of Middle Eastern bee races.
