The Armenian Legion was a unit of the German Wehrmacht in World War II, to which mainly Armenians from the Soviet Union belonged.

During the Second World War, the Armenian Legion was set up by the Wehrmacht on July 4, 1942 at the military training area in the center of Radom in the Generalgouvernement of Poland . It included over 33,000 soldiers who served in several battalions . There was also German support staff. The commander was the Armenian general Drastamat Kanajan . He was assisted by a German command staff, which was subordinate to the command of the Eastern Legions .
