Armin Göttlicher

Armin Göttlicher (born January 15, 1977 ) is an Austrian basketball coach .

career

Göttlicher was first a player at BK Klosterneuburg , as a coach he led the U22 team to the championship in 2011 and was assistant coach of the Klosterneuburg fighting team from 2005, with which he became Austrian national champion in 2012. As a coach in the youth field, he led other Klosterneuburg teams to win the national championship title in addition to the U22s, namely in the U16 and U18 age groups. After Robert Langer's resignation in December 2014, Göttlicher initially took over the post of head coach on a temporary basis and then became permanently responsible. In March 2016, Göttlicher was dismissed as Klosterneuburg's trainer due to the "unsatisfactory" sporting development and replaced by Werner Sallomon  .

In 2010 and 2012, in addition to his duties in Klosterneuburg, Göttlicher was also assistant coach of the U20 national team and in 2013 of the senior national team. In July 2010 Austria's U20s won gold at the B-European Championship under the direction of head coach Sallomon and assistant Göttlicher, which was also associated with promotion to the A group.

In July 2016, divine coach of the second division St. Pölten became , after a year it came to the separation in the summer of 2017, on the part of the club "opinion differences" were given as the reason. Previously, St. Pölten was runner-up in the 2nd Bundesliga under Göttlicher's leadership.
