Armin Guhl

Armin Guhl (born September 14, 1907 ; † unknown) was a Swiss decathlete .

Armin Guhl belonged to the Winterthur City Gymnastics Club . He was Swiss champion in 1931, 1936 and 1937. He took part for Switzerland in the 1st European Athletics Championships in Turin in 1934 and reached 5th place with 6250 points, setting a new Swiss record. At the 1936 Olympic Games in Berlin , he improved his own record again. He reached sixth place there on August 8, 1936 with 6618 points and thus won an Olympic diploma . His Swiss record was surpassed in 1942 by Raymond Anet with 6675 points.
