Individual evidence

  1. 指定 離島 ・ 指定 離島 一 覧 . (PDF) In: 離島 関係 資料 (平 成 28 年 1 月) . 沖 縄 県 企 画 部 地域 ・ 離島 課 ("Land and Islands Unit, Planning Department, Okinawa Prefecture"), January 2016, p. 1 , accessed on 2. August 2016 (Japanese).
  2. At this point on the official topographic map there is an unnamed atoll / reef with an area of about 0.3 km². There is no other island-like object of this size in the vicinity of Ie-shima, on which the municipality of Ie is assigned to Nakanosu according to 第 1 指定 離島 ・ 島 し ょ ・ 人口 . The Japanese Coast Guard lists in namens 縄 本 島 及 び 付 近 の 島 々 ("Islands off Okinawa") at 26 ° 41 ′ N, 127 ° 49 ′ E an island called Nakanose ( 中 ノ 瀬 ) with an elevation called Nakanosu? [sic!]. However, this name does not appear in the list 第 1 指定 離島 ・ 島 し ょ ・ 人口 of Okinawa Prefecture, which lists all islands with an area of at least one hectare. Nakanosu probably corresponds to the object at 26 ° 41 ′ N, 127 ° 49 ′ E.
