Armin Sengenberger

Armin Sengenberger (born June 1, 1975 in Nuremberg ) is a German actor .

Life

Sengenberger trained as an actor at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts . He played in numerous films and plays . In 2010 he was seen in the film Handbag - Le Sac , directed by Christoph Heckenbücker . On stage he played the "Big Bopper" in the musical Buddy Holly in the Theater im Hafen Hamburg . At the Berlin Children's Theater, to whose main ensemble Sengenberger belongs, he first played various roles in the Jungle Book , then in 2009 the neighbor Gustavsson in the play Petterson gets a Christmas visit . In 2010 he took over the police officer Larsson in a stage version by Pippi Longstocking .

In the theater version of The Miracle of Bern , directed by Dirk Schröter, he played the role of Helmut Rahn, which was divided into young and old, as an “agile-virile 54-man youth” . In it, Armin Sengenberger gave the "quick-tempered, carelessly young Rahn of 25 years of honorable shape". Sengenberger embodied the impetuous daredevil Rahn with "a lot of verve" and "shone [in the center of the performance] as a young football hero". In September 2011 Sengenberger married Esther Leiggener, whom he met during the production of Das Wunder von Bern .
