Armitage Trail

Armitage Trail , real name Maurice Coons (* 1902 , † October 10, 1930 in Los Angeles ) was an American writer and screenwriter.

Trail began writing detective stories for various magazines at the age of 16. His best-known work is the novel Scarface , which has been filmed several times.

Trail died of a heart attack in 1930 at the Paramount Theater in Los Angeles.
