Arne Moritz

Arne Moritz (born September 10, 1969 in Freiburg im Breisgau ) is a German politician of the CDU North Rhine-Westphalia .

CDU politician

Moritz, who studied business administration, has been a member of the Junge Union since 1988. In 1992 he joined the CDU in Solingen . From 2012 to 2015 Moritz was district chairman of the Solingen CDU. He is also a member of the board of the CDU district association Bergisches Land. Since 1999 he has been a member of the City Council of Solingen.

After the state election in North Rhine-Westphalia in 2010 Moritz moved as directly selected delegates for the state election district Solingen I Westphalia North-Rhine in the parliament a. There he was a full member of the Interior Committee, Petitions Committee, Legal Committee and the Integration Subcommittee until the state parliament was dissolved prematurely. In the state elections in North Rhine-Westphalia in 2017 , Moritz ran in the constituency of Solingen 1 and won the direct mandate.
