Arnold Sommerfeld Prize
The Arnold Sommerfeld Prize , named after Arnold Sommerfeld , has been awarded annually to young scientists since 1994 by the mathematics and natural sciences class of the Bavarian Academy of Sciences . The award is given for outstanding achievements in the field of natural sciences. The full members of the Academy's mathematics and science class are entitled to make nominations. The prize is endowed with 4,000 euros and is financed by donations.
