Arnold E. Weber

Arnold E. Weber (born December 20, 1897 in Düsseldorf , † September 1955 ) was a German manager .

Life

Weber was born in 1897 in Dusseldorf and started after the end of World War I his agricultural studies, but moved to the University of Cologne to economics to study. There he did his doctorate with the private lecturer Erwin Geldmacher with the pre-calculation in agriculture . He then became an assistant to Eugen Schmalenbach in Cologne. However, he was less interested in scientific work, so he left university. He became an employee of the economic consultants German cities AG . In 1934 he became the commercial director of the Kübler and Niethammer paper mill in Kriebstein . In 1945 he was captured by the Soviet army and did not return to Germany until 1948 . Just one year later he took over the management of Rheinische Strohzellstoff AG in Rheindürkheim , which he successfully managed and for which he created international partnerships.
