Arnold Robolski

Arnold Claus August Robolski (born May 15, 1828 in Neuhaldensleben , † November 1, 1909 in Halle (Saale) ) was a German lawyer, politician and publicist.

Life

The son of the teacher Heinrich Robolski began working as a lawyer in Wanzleben in 1862 after studying law . Later he also worked as a notary. He was appointed to the judiciary in 1881. In the city of Wanzleben, Arnold Robolski was also involved as a conservative politician. He worked for many years as a city councilor, city councilor chief and as an alderman. In 1899 he retired and moved to Halle. On his 80th birthday, a place in Wanzleben was honored with his name. As a writer, Robolski dealt with local historical events in two plays. Robolski was also to be found as the author of many small contributions in the Wanzlebener Kreisblatt .
