Arnsdorf-Hilbersdorf

From 1970 to 1994 Arnsdorf-Hilbersdorf was a municipality in the former district of Görlitz in what is now Saxony .

The community was formed in 1970 from the neighboring communities of Arnsdorf and Hilbersdorf . On January 1, 1994, as part of the Saxon municipal area reform, it merged with two other municipalities to form the municipality of Vierkirchen .

In 1971 the population of the municipality was 945. By 1988 it sank to 772 and reached 722 in December 1993. Thus, the population density of the eleven square kilometer municipality fell from 86 inhabitants / km² to 66 inhabitants / km².
