Arnulf Krause

Arnulf Krause (born November 27, 1955 in Zell im Wiesental , Baden-Württemberg ) is a German Germanic and Scandinavian medievalist and non-fiction author.

Krause studied at the University of Bonn , where he received his doctorate in 1989. He is honorary professor for older Scandinavian language and literature and a lecturer at the Institute for German Studies, Comparative Literature and Cultural Studies at the University of Bonn.

Arnulf Krause is a specialist in Germanic heroic sagas and Edda poetry . He has authored several non-fiction books on the Germanic tribes, the Celts and the Vikings and is particularly concerned with the myths of these peoples.
