Arron Matthew Oberholser (born February 2, 1975 in San Luis Obispo , California ) is an American professional golfer of the PGA TOUR . He is one of the few professionals who play without gloves.
After attending San Jose State University , he became a professional golfer in 1998 and played on the regional Canadian Tour until 2000 , where Oberholser last finished second in the rankings. In 2001 he rose to the second level of performance, the Nationwide Tour . He could only take part in three tournaments there because of a wrist injury in his first season. In the next season, Oberholser qualified second on the money list for the big PGA TOUR , which he has played regularly since 2003. He won his first title in 2006 at the important AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am .
