Mouscron district

The Mouscron district ( Dutch : Moeskroen ) was one of seven districts (arrondissements) in the Belgian province of Hainaut until December 31, 2018 . It covered an area of ​​101.17 km² with 76,297 inhabitants ( as of January 1, 2018 ) in the two communities Comines-Warneton and Mouscron , which were not connected to each other due to the location of Comines-Warneton as an enclave.

The judicial district of the parishes in Mouscron District was Tournai District .

The Mouscron district merged with the Tournai district to form the new Tournai-Mouscron district .
