The Arroyo Cufré is a small river located in the area of the departments Colonia and San José in the south of Uruguay .
The left tributary of the Río de la Plata rises east of Cufré . On its way from north to south, it forms the border between the two departments of Colonia and San José . Among other things, he is fed by the Arroyo Pantanoso . Its confluence with the Rió de la Plata is a few kilometers east of that of the Río Rosario and the Arroyo Sauce .
