The Arroyo Sauce is a river in southern Uruguay .
It is made from the two Arroyo Sauce Grande and Arroyo Sauce Chico that originate in the Cuchilla Cufré in the Colonia department southeast of Nueva Helvecia . From there it flows south to the coastal town of Santa Regina . Here it flows as a left tributary into the Río de la Plata .
