The Arroyo Tío Diego is a river in the south of Uruguay .
It rises in the department of Canelones a few kilometers north of the Cerro Piedras de Afilar . From there it first flows in a north-west-south -east direction and in the lower reaches, roughly after crossing under Ruta 70 , in a west-east direction. The Arroyo Tío Diego flows as a right-hand tributary a few hundred meters upstream opposite the confluence of the Arroyo del Sarandí in the Arroyo Solís Grande .
