Arthur "Art" Thibert is an American comic book artist .

Life and work

Thibert, who works both as a pencil and ink draftsman, has in the past mainly worked for the leading US comic publishers, DC Comics and Marvel Comics .

For several years he designed various Superman series for DC, including in tandem with the illustrator Dan Jurgens . Work on series such as Time Masters , The Flash , The Outsiders and Armageddon in 2001 followed . For Marvel Comics, Thibert mainly drew various series of the X-Men label in the 1990s.

In 1989, Thibert founded Hack Shack Studios (HSS), one of the first US companies to specialize in revising drawings with ink on behalf of comic publishers, advertising agencies and magazines.

In addition, Thibert has created various series of comics, which he has published by commercial publishers, but for which he has reserved the copyrights, such as: Chrono Mechanics , HIT and the Nightmare Files .

Aside from the comic industry, Thibert has worked as an artist for film studios and video game manufacturers.
