Artemis Matthaiopoulos

Artemis Matthaiopoulos ( Greek Αρτέμης Ματθαιόπουλος ) is a member of the neo-Nazi Greek party Chrysi Avgi . He has been a member of the Greek parliament since shortly after the general election in Greece in June 2012 .

Political career

On July 23, 2012, Matthaiopoulos was elected as Member of Parliament for the city of Serres , replacing the resigned Nikitas Siois.

Life

Matthaiopoulos is also the front man and bass player of the Nazi punk band Pogrom. The band's songs include titles such as Speak Greek or Die , Auschwitz , which contains anti-Semitic content, or Rock das Vaterland , which incites against foreigners . In other texts he sings against Anne Frank , Simon Wiesenthal , the Jewish star "and the whole tribe of Abraham ".
